7 Day Detox Plan



In 7 days I will be 32 years-old and a new year will begin for me. I thought it would be the perfect time to detox my mind and body. I really want to focus on giving my body a rest from digesting all the junk I’ve been consuming. For the next 7 days I will be eating a diet that contains mostly fruits and vegetables. After my detox, I plan to reintroduce other foods in moderation. To get my mind right, I’ll be spending more quiet time with myself that includes, prayer, meditation and journaling.

7-Day Detox (December 11-17)

Things I’m not eating

-All meat including fish and poultry

-Refined Carbs

-Juice

-Soda

-Processed Food

-Alcohol

-Milk

-Cheese

What I will be eating

-Raw/Cooked Vegetables

-Fruit

-Nuts

-Water

-Green Smoothies

-Salads with homemade dressing

-Flax Seed (Mixed with smoothie)

-Wheat Germ (Mixed with Smoothie)

7-Day Meal Plan

-Drink 64 ozs of water daily

-Replace two meals (Breakfast and lunch) with a green smoothie

-Eat a salad for dinner each night

-Snack on nuts, raw veggies and fruit throughout the day

Because of my schedule, I won’t be going to the gym during these 7 days, but I will be working out at home everyday before work. On the 7th day, I plan to detox my body by going to a sauna.
